Just as a note here: I’ll soon change my auto responder series to a new one and if you’re already subscribed there you’ll receive an special document in the next few weeks (early november I guess) that you’ll love. It will be an exclusive article on the tools and procedures that I use to rank my articles and they’re proved to work. And if you see I haven’t mentioned anything about panda 2.1 or hummingbird or Google’s pterodactyl or whatever, is because I haven’t been hurt at all. In fact, every time an update like this happens I just get better and better, possibly because some competition gets wiped out with every update.

Before I go on, I just want to highlight that you should always act in a moral way when doing affiliate marketing on Facebook. You’re not there to take advantage of people, but to provide them with something they genuinely want and can actually benefit from. They’re giving you a tiny bit of their time, in exchange for a ton of yours that you spent to create something great.

Gone are the days of coupon cutting. With the Dosh app, you’ll find local restaurants and shops that offer cash back, or money back into your account if you end up spending money there. All you have to do is link any debit or credit card through the app and you are all set! Card Linked Apps are an amazing and super easy way to earn extra money without having to lift a finger!

On the topic of looking for affiliates that cater to your niche, another way to bring on affiliates is by emailing other entrepreneurs in that niche as well. If you’re not using an affiliate program, finding other stores on your own that target an audience similar to yours and reaching out to them could be a great way to start a really profitable relationship.
In early May, Pinterest lifted its ban on affiliate links in pins—huge news for publishers and advertisers alike. Pinterest emerged as an online destination for consumers looking for new trends and products since its creation in 2010, and with over 100 million monthly active users and worldwide reach, it represents a massive opportunity for players in the affiliate space.
For example, I have a post featuring 10 Affordable Headboards on my blog. Now, instead of just pinning the “pinnable graphic” you see below, I pin that PLUS individual images of each headboard featured within the post. That exponentially increases the chance that people will click on the pin and through to my blog post, which in turn increases my chance of making affiliate sales from that post. Plus, it also boosts traffic to that post, which translates to more ad revenue as well–it’s a win-win!
Facebook can be tricky. Its terms change frequently regarding promoted and branded content, especially as the new forms of branded and sponsored content become popular, which affects the way in which you can use Amazon affiliate links without getting into trouble with Facebook. Your understanding of the process and the important steps to take to stay within Facebook and Amazon guidelines will help your money-making abilities.
When you create a product review video for YouTube marketing, share your personal experience about the product you are selling – which means you must have personally used the product first – and be objective oriented in your video. Be honest and natural in your product review video so that you can win the confidence of the visitors so that they can buy your product.
To build on that last point about commissions in the previous section of this post, it’s important to offer generous commission rates, especially if you’re just starting out. For example, proven top fashion sites offer commissions of up to 10%, and some early-stage stores would benefit from offering even more. When it comes to affiliate marketing for beginners, providing great monetary incentives is a key way to build trust and scale up your advertising efforts by scoring great affiliates.
The bulk of the offers that I promote pay around $20-$40 per lead, but there are others that pay more and less. However, you don't want to get caught up solely on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same and possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.
From our chat with an Amazon Associates customer service representative, Amazon says that their position on the use of Amazon Associates links in YouTube content is “not public information”. Therefore, we cannot present you with what exactly we were told. You also cannot find their rules, specific to the use of Amazon Associate links, documented anywhere on their website despite the fact that they have “guidelines.”
The idea of making money while you sleep is nothing new. Passive income has been a popular buzzword for the past couple of years. One way to generate such passive income is with affiliate marketing. If you want to earn money but don't have anything to sell, affiliate income comes into play and can leave you making some pretty decent change each month.

Thanks for the list. Its frustrating to get approved to some affiliate networks. Here’s another affiliate program you can add to the list. It’s a PLR membership site. You get paid even if your customer signs up only for free trial. If they pay, you get 20-50%. To be honest, I earn more from the Free trial signups than the paid ones. A strong candidate will have great partnership and collaboration skills and love working cross-functionally as part of a team. This is an ideal position for a candidate who is looking to advance their career in business development, digital marketing, lead negotiation of effective business deal terms, and leverage both sales and revenue generating skills across a diverse business.
Not that long ago, consumers would find a product that looked cool, maybe talk to a salesman, and make a purchase if it appeared to fit their needs. Now, consumers are flocking online, well before they decide to make a purchase, to do in-depth research and find the very best product available. Unboxing videos and product reviews have exploded into the buyer’s journey, and there is a huge opportunity to capitalize on this research phase through your YouTube channel. Consumers are simply looking for reviews that they can trust to help them make the best choice possible on the products they need. It’s incredibly important to find something that you are truly passionate about and provide people with a detailed review of why this is the best product available. Doing this will build trust and foster a community that organically grows in followers.
Side note – If you do have a blog, just about any and everything that you use on your blog (hosting, themes, plugins, etc) has an affiliate program so apply to them!  You can also check out my List of Awesome Affiliate Programs which includes everything I use on my own blogs and more!  Even if you don't “blog” about those things, you can use them for Pinterest!
Since we’re now directing Facebook users to an external page and you can’t directly promote an affiliate link I created 2 pages with Optimize press 2.0. Both landing pages had similar title/content and a video showing the power Squarespace. I really highlighted the option to get a free 14 day trial with some big arrows and that, and the only difference is that one page had a button to start the trial directly, while the other one had an opt-in form to get their email. After getting their email, they were redirected to a third landing page which was basically the same as the one with the button so they could start their trial right away, but I had already gotten their email to contact them in the future.
Inspiring other bloggers to maximize their blogging income through affiliate marketing is a huge passion of mine so I’m super excited to share my thoughts on how to use affiliate links on Pinterest to grow your affiliate earnings. Facebook Ads allow individuals and businesses to run paid ads on Facebook. To run ads, you need a Facebook page. Before using ads, you’ll want to understand Facebook’s policies. Affiliate links, redirects, and suspicious sites/landing pages get many people suspended and banned from using ads and even Facebook. Facebook will review an advertisement before approving or declining it.

If you’re running WordPress, I use a plugin called Thirsty Affiliates to cloak, manage, and track my affiliate links (you have to pay Thirsty Affiliates for their add-ons if you want extra features). The free version is still good… just install the plugin and find the “Affiliate Links” tab on the left of your dashboard. Add the link name and destination URL, save it, then copy the cloaked version of the URL so you can add it to your Youtube video annotations.

Hi Maggie, you can learn about the tracking technologies we use in this video tutorial: https://pubhelp.rakutenmarketing.com/hc/en-us/articles/200694358-Understanding-Affiliate-Marketing-Tracking-Technology-VIDEO-. Each advertiser may set their own "return days" window for crediting a sale, so you'll need to review each advertiser's offer for that information. Here's an article about return days: https://pubhelp.rakutenmarketing.com/hc/en-us/articles/200992147. Hope that's helpful!
Interesting article. Being a recent victim of the new Illinois nexus tax and being drop kicked by Amazon as a result (Thank you very much Governor Quinn)I am of course very curious as to whether working with Walmart would be worth the effort. Aside from the lower commission, what is to stop someone from buying what they see on my site at their local Walmart?

Pinterest’s enhanced ability to detect spam pins is great news, but it also means that pinners should take precautions to ensure their affiliate pins aren’t inadvertently flagged as spam. One of the guiding principles is that the image in a pin should be consistent with the destination of the pin. For example, a pin with an image of a throw pillow on a couch should not redirect to a vacation booking site.
To apply to an advertiser's program, select the radio button next to the offer you want to join and click Update at the bottom of the page. To apply to several advertiser programs at once, return to the listing of advertiser programs, click the check-boxes next to the programs you wish to join, and click Apply at the bottom of the page. By applying to the advertiser's program you are agreeing to the advertiser's terms and conditions (these vary from advertiser to advertiser), so be sure to read and understand them thoroughly.

Shopify is an eCommerce solution similar to PayPal or Stripe.com—it allows you to make sales, purchases, and payments online. For someone running an affiliate program, this is obviously a necessary piece of the puzzle. Not only do you need to get paid for your sales, but you need your customers to be able to make purchases and—much as you’d like to forget this part—you also have to pay your affiliates!

Hi Brooke, it is pretty easy. If you search in the Help Center search box you can find many helpful articles and videos. This video should be helpful: https://pubhelp.rakutenmarketing.com/hc/en-us/articles/204617349-How-to-Shorten-Links-for-Publishing-on-Social-Media-VIDEO- If you need further assistance, please contact Customer Support so they can help you personally.

In addition, a payment threshold of $50 compared to Amazon’s $10 sets up one more barrier to entry, especially if you’re new to the affiliate game. With Walmart positioning itself as offering the lowest prices due to its huge buying power – their tagline is “Save Money. Live Better” (which replaced its famous “Always Low Prices. Always” about ten years ago) – building up that first $50 might take quite some time, which is demotivating.
